2010 Boy Scout Summer Camp At Camp Tolochee

Once again, we had a great summer camp at Tolochee this year! Big thanks to all of our scoutmasters and scouts that came out to enjoy “the island”.  This year we introduced a couple of new activities to camp; Frisbee golf and our first annual summer camp Wii boxing tournament.  The scouts really enjoyed summer camp this year and it wouldn’t be possible without our great volunteers so Thank You!!

100th Anniversary Celebrations Continue

Flag Retirement Campaign

The 2010 Anniversary celebration continues with the Flag Retirement Campaign. After the 9/11 attacks in 2001, many Americans began to display the U.S. flag prominently.  Unfortunately, many of those flags have not been replaced since 2001 and they are getting faded and tattered.  Our goal is to provide a community service by collecting and properly retiring those flags. We set out to collect and retire 100 American flags.  We have collected over one hundred flags and retired around 68 of them.  Thanks to all of our volunteers and banks for helping the oac collect the flags.

Youth Protection Training
