Hey guys, this is one of those once in a life-time chance...celebrate BSAs 100th Anniversary and be part of the "BIGGEST" and "COOLEST" events that you'll ever have. There are tons of "COOL" activities, spectacular shows, interactive displays, a merit badge midway, many more adventures, and a life-time of great memories. 

Participant Requirements:
Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts must be at least First Class Scouts. They must have completed the sixth grade or be at least 12 years of age by July 1, 2010, but not have reached their 18th birthday by August, 2010. All Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts must participate in a pre-jamboree training experience; file a complete Personal Health and Medical Record prior to the pre-jamboree training; have been active in a troop or team for at least six months prior to July 1, 2010; and be approved by the unit leader and local council.  The participant requirements are not waiverable.

Application Process: 
National BSA has rolled out an online registration system for the 2010 National Scout Jamboree for all participants and staff applications.  We will not be using paper applications as we have in the past. The registration site can be accessed from the following sites:
 
www.MyScouting.org  for non–BSA employees                   www.MyBSA.org for BSA employees
 
The approval of participants and staff applications from the council is a required part of the registration process. This online system will allow you to do this electronically. If you do not have an existing account at these sites, step by step instructions will be provided to establish an account. When an applicant applies online, a copy of their confirmation will be sent to the council via e-mail for review and approval.
