lessons focus on eight character traits and a set of life
skills. Other value-added features include drug
abuse-prevention education lessons, outdoor experiences, and

Exploring is a work-site based program
that gives youth ages 14 to 20 an opportunity to visit
community organizations and explore the dynamics of various
careers. Exploring’s purpose is
to provide experiences that help young
people mature and to help them become responsible
and caring adults.
