TRAILHEAD - Is a First Year Camper program for young Scouts working on their Tenderfoot through First Class ranks. This program gives the new scout with less than 6 months in a troop the opportunity to jump start his basic skills instruction. He will not learn everything for these ranks but will be introduced to skills best suited in the outdoors. The Troop leaders are responsible to review and test what has been signed off at camp.

Merit Badge Classes - Our merit badge schedule is designed for the scout to earn 3 to 5 badges in a week. There are some classes that are 2 hours long but most can be completed in a week. It is very important for the scout to know which badges he wants to take in consultation with his leaders. The leaders have a responsibility to advise the scout on which badges are more suitable for a second or third year camper versus a first year camper. Remember that prerequisite requirements need to be completed if the scout and leaders have thoughts of finishing the badge.
